Features of Eosinophilic gastroenteritis:

- Patient presents with abdominal pain.
- Peripheral blood eosinophilia.
- IgE increased in blood.
- Eosinophilic infiltration of mucosa, 
  submucosa, muscularis propria or the 
  serosa.
- Mucosal edema, vascular dilatation.
- 10 - 50 eosinophils / hpf
- Displaces and destroys gastric pits and
   glands.
