Clinical History:A 24 year old male with recurrent episodes of bloody diarrhea ,vague abdominal
discomfort accompanied by mild fever.
Physical examination revealed lower quadrant abdominal tenderness.
Endoscopic findings: Small discrete mucosal ulcers covered with yellowish - brown exudate
with intervening normal mucosa in the caecum and the ascending colon.
Colonic biopsies and scrapings of ulcer edge taken for diagnosis.
