Clinical History: A 61 year old male presented with a 3 month history of abdominal pain ,fever,
gastrointestinal tract bleeding and weight loss. There is splenomegaly and lymphadenopathy.
Lymphnodes are palpable in the cervical, axillary and inguinal region.
CT scan: Enlarged lymphnodes in the cervical, inguinal, retroperitoneal region, around aorta
and in the mediastinum. There is thickening of the caecum and right side of the colon.
Colonoscopy: Revealed multiple grayish-white polypoid lesions 1.5 to 2.0
cm in diameter.
These are endoscopic biopsy specimens from the lesions in the colon.
Immunohistochemistry:
CyclinD1: shows strong nuclear positivity
CD5: Positive
CD20 & CD19: Positive
CD10 & CD23: Negative
CD3: Negative
