                   Clinical History:  A 25 year old female presented with firm painless nodules on the left elbow

             and on the dorsal aspect of the knuckles and interphalangeal joints of left hand. 

             The elbow nodule is 2.5 cm in diameter.  The overlying skin is normal and the nodules are not

             attached to the tendons or bone. Rheumatoid factor is strongly positive and ESR is elevated.

             Patient has a medical history of rheumatoid arthritis.   H&E sections from the elbow nodule.
