Poroma of the eyelid.Ophthal
Plast Reconstr Surg.
2008
Jan-Feb;24(1):63-5.
A 71-year-old
white woman sought treatment for poroma of the right lower eyelid.
Excisional biopsy was performed, and the specimen had histologic
features consistent with poroma. One year after excision, there has
been no recurrence of the lesion. Clinicians should be aware that
poroma can occur in regions other than the hands and feet.
Dermoscopy of
eccrine poroma.Dermatology.
2007;215(2):160-3.
Eccrine poroma
(EP) may clinically mimic a number of benign and malignant skin
tumors. Dermoscopy improves the clinical diagnosis of many pigmented
and nonpigmented skin tumors, but to date little is known about the
impact of dermoscopy in the diagnosis of EP. We report 2 patients with
EP and discuss the diagnostic significance of the observed dermoscopic
findings.
Eccrine poroma of
the scalp: A study of three cases.Tunis
Med. 2006 Jun;84(6):391-3.
The eccrine
poroma is a rare benign sudoral tumour, which creates a fleshy
formation. The diagnosis is made according to the anatomopathological
study. The usual site is the sol, but in rare cases, other sites have
also been reported. The authors report three cases of eccrine poroma
localised in the scalp with literature review. |
